Hej Robert !

Hello Robert

Hello Robert is a dance performance that starts with a showing of the Robert Rauschenberg exhibit Combines. We look at art that expresses humor and playfulness in for example Monogram - the goat with a tire around its center. A dancer takes us with her to Rauschenbergs universe, where a lot can happen. Things dance past. A lamp lights on and off. A dancer peeks out from a shirt.

A Rose is a Rose is a Rose

Roses, dancing and and garden clippers
Barock dancing wrestles with the botanist Linné
A flower turns into a surrealist costume
In a performance where humour and dancing meets science and in natural elements.

I was asked to make a dance for the Linnéjubilée in 2007 in Sweden. Gertrude Stein's famed quote about flowers was a perfect match for a performance. A dance for parks, castles, museums and outdoor festivals.

Coming undone

With physicality, sensuousness and amazon playfulness, coming undone presents three amazons who have to battle with household objects and glamorous dreams in order to survive in a household landscape.
"As enjoyable to watch as it is sometimes giggly and sweetly silly. Using the prosaic elements of daily objects, the dancers astound us in their ability to cajole rambunctious, sensuous and generous physical musicality." Pia Huss Dagens Nyheter
