Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Södermalm, Stockholm, and trained as a dancer at the Royal Swedish Ballet School and as an actor at Stockholm University of the Arts. I also work as a musician.
Some highlights from your professional life
Highlights include collaborations with Cullberg, Dramaten (the Royal Dramatic Theatre), the Royal Swedish Opera, Cirkus Cirkör, Dockteatern Tittut and Regionteater Väst.
Together with Hugo Therkelson I run the performing arts duo TUBO, working at the intersection of dance, music and object theatre. In 2025, TUBO was awarded the Falstaff Prize, and the production Avig received the Swedish Theatre Critics’ Award for Best Production for Children and Young People 2024.
Why do you want to create work for young audiences?
In 1992 I saw Michael Jackson at Stockholm Stadium, and the same year The Wind in the Willows at Stockholm City Theatre. It remains among the best things I have ever seen.
