Where are you from?
– I was born and raised in Värmland. My dance journey started there and took me to Stockholm where I have lived and worked since I was 20 years old. I took my education at Danshögskolan and Teatterikorkeakoulu in Helsinki. I have worked with dance an performance art all of my grown up life, but when I had my child, I switched to HR and I now alternate between being an HR manager and a tour producer.

Some highlights from your professional life?
– As a professional dancer, highlights have been creating, dancing and touring with the Blekinge-Kronoberg Regional Theater and the Kalmar County Byteatern and to work with fantastic actors and all-round artists. It was great to tour throughout our beautiful country of Sweden.

Another highlight was going to New York and Washington and getting paid to dance abroad and meet American children and families!

Why do you want to work with performances for children and young people?
– The contact with the children is so honest and direct, and they really are a picky audience – if the show doesn’t deliver, they focus on something else and you know you need to work to get their attention!

It is so important that children get to see really good culture and in particular good performing arts. Now that I am part of Claire Parson’s team, I am once again a part of the Swedish performing arts even though I am no longer on stage myself. It´s fantastic to be able to contribute to really good performing arts!
