I’M THINKING ABOUT

Join us for an exciting moment of dance and music in the middle of the exhibition about the Swedish Ballet, “If you don’t like it, you can go to hell” at the Dance Museum in Stockholm. Here, anything can happen! We travel near and far, through past and present – in a place where the music swings, where we encounter a pair of fake mustaches and, if we want, get to try some dance moves.

I’m Thinking About is a tribute to the iconic Ballets Suédois, the Swedish Ballet, a dance company active in Paris 1920–25. The company created original and fantastic performances with artists such as dancer/choreographer Jean Börlin, painter Francis Picabia, choreographer Carina Ari, composer Erik Satie and many more.

I’m Thinking About is a travelling dance story – a dance performance that is a guided tour through the museum exhibition.

Created in collaboration with Dansmuseet/Klara Berggren.
Financial Support by the City of Stockholm.

Her exhilarating performance I’m Thinking About derives direct nourishment from the playfulness of the avant-garde, and we can only thank the Dance Museum for this initiative.
