The Young Dance Festival made an interview with Claire Parsonsinterview with Claire Parsons.

Your secret skill?
-I’d like it if my secret skill was juggling or twiggling my ears or raising one eyebrow (it used to be). I’m really fast at typing actually – does that count?

Claire Parsons at The Dance Museum

The iconic Swedish Ballet celebrates 101 years 2021 and we are invited!

October 23 and 24 The Dance Museum in Stockholm will be celebrating the legendary Swedish Ballet active on the Paris dance scene 1920 – 1925. It will be a weekend of activities at the museum and where the dancers Elin Hallgren and Nea Landing will perform material from I’M THINKING ABOUT; a celebration of the 1920s and The Swedish Ballet of that time. The Swedish Ballet presented an astounding amount of provocative performances collaborating with Picasso, Satie, Delaunay, and more in the 5 years they lit a bright artistic fire.

I AM THINKING ABOUT at The Dance Museum in Stockholm (SE) is a tribute to the iconic Svenska Baletten/The Swedish Ballet that provoked and delighted the Paris cultural scene of the 1920s. Canceled by Corona in 2020, it will premiere in spring 2022. A sneak peek will appear in the 101-year celebration at the museum.
